Multiple award-winning beer and food venue The Local Taphouse has recently expanded with beautiful new function and dining spaces as well as a brand new kitchen. We provide an exceptional customer experience and seek to provide simple food produced at a very high standard to accompany our excellent beverage offer.
With our current Head Chef heading home to New Zealand, we are looking for a new, experienced and dynamic Head Chef up for the challenge of further building on his excellent work.
The successful candidate will:
- Have held a Head Chef position in a reputable venue
- Be imaginative and have prepared to experiment
- Be a great leader, trainer and communicator
- Be well organised
- Have a passionate desire to cook to a high standard
- Assist us to provide an exceptional hospitality experience
- Assist the owners and management team to develop, implement and maintain structured systems such as costed menus, purchasing controls, storage and food production and a strict wage budget
- Have good computer skills
