I'm a fan of what I've tried from Martin. (the Cathcarts, the JCIPA, APA and Janszoon). I love his take on beer and brewing. Yet to try a cider though. I'll add it to my list for next time in NZ.

Ahh, my mistake! Either way, still a great drop.

I’m a fan of what I’ve tried from Martin. Thanks for the mentions in a really interesting and different take on Beervana. It's nice to read an article taking a different tack, and more so when it feels natural and includes a lot of personal insight.
Just a small note, there's no coffee in Bean Counter! :) It's just a traditional English Porter with the addition of Tahitian vanilla bean extract at a ratio designed to enhance the existing mocha notes present in the malt bill. Glad it worked for you! :) I'm also stoked you liked my "other" contribution via that understated genius of brewing, Martin Townshend. I loved what he did with that recipe, and it was an honour to have it brewed by him. If you haven't already, try his cider at some point. A stunner, though the judges seem to have overlooked it.
Cheers,
Greig.

Hey Luke,

Thanks for the mentions in a really interesting and different take on Beervana.
