Good to see someone doing the non specific bittering hop thing. It works great in my Pale Ale just adding high AA citrusy hops for flavour & aroma. Can’t wait to get my hands on some.

Thanks for the interest and apologies for the confusion…
We are looking to add the Big Wednesday to our (semi) permanent list including in the bottle. We are differentiating it from our other beers such as Icon 2IPA and Spartacus Imperial IPA both of which are much bigger, higher ABV beers. It is the first time we have bottled an IPA without being double, Imperial, black, (whatever!), which is what we are trying to get across, and it is the first time we have bottled the Big Wednesday, a beer we have done on draught 2 or 3 times over the past few years.
Hope that clears things up a little and hope you guys enjoy the beer upon release. Initial tastings show a really good translation from draught to bottle conditioned product and we are quite excited here in the brewery!

As indicated in the post, it is an unedited media release from the brewery…they may have meant that it’s the first time Big Wednesday is available.

Icon has been in several different bottles, for years now. Shawns Fault has been in the bottle as well.

By no means Murray’s first IPA in a bottle.
