Taphouse marks International Beer Day

  • The Local Taphouse Darlinghurst iconInternational Beer Day
  • Friday 7th August from 12pm
  • Every first Friday of August since 2008

Following on from last year’s stellar line-up of international beers at The Local, this year’s IBD will see 20 beers on tap, from 20 different countries, for the very first time in Australia.

Take a virtual trip to the UK with Beavertown (England), Brewdog (Scotland) and of course, Guinness (Ireland), before venturing into mainland Europe; Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Italy will all have great beers on show.

Closer to home, 8 Wired represent New Zealand (They’re often named in Ratebeer.com’s prestigious top 100 brewers of the world) and Feral Brewing (WA), with Hop Hog, winner of Australia’s top 100 craft beer poll.

The mighty Stone Brewing from The States and Du De Ciel from Canada are also coming to the party…

Along with the beers, we’ll have an international food menu. We’re choosing the best dishes from around the world to complement the beers.

All beers tapped from 12pm (open til 1am).
