Square Keg to import New Belgium beers

SquareKeg_Logo 198KbSquare Keg [Stone & Wood Group subsidiary] has reached an agreement with New Belgium Brewing Company to import and distribute its’ iconic brands including Fat Tire. New Belgium and Stone & Wood Group have had a close relationship for many years sharing industry knowledge and many a social beer. The relationship has now been turned into an opportunity to finally give Australian beer drinkers the chance to sample some of New Belgium’s outstanding beers.

New Belgium’s US based Territory Expansion Specialist, Casey Kjolhede said “We are really excited to be partnering with Square Keg to be able to bring our beers to the Australian market, we’ve had a lot of interest from craft beer drinkers in Australia over the years and with our recent brewery expansion we are now in a position to be able to fulfil the demand”.

Square Keg’s Managing Partner Garry Hastings said, “We are very proud to be partnering with New Belgium, they have an amazing range of beers which will be a great international addition to our growing portfolio. With both companies being focused on the love of great beer, employee ownership, and sustainability, we certainly have a lot in common.”

Square Keg, will be bringing a variety of New Belgium’s brands into Australia in the coming months. The initial “toe in the water” shipment will include the iconic Fat Tire [amber ale], Ranger IPA, 1554 Black Lager and La Folie from the prestigious Lips of Faith line.
