Mornington Peninsula Brewery has released its second nitrogen-dosed beer, Sacchariferous Stout.

The sweet/milk stout was brewed using lactose, hence the name Sacchariferous, meaning containing sugar.

“Utilising nitrogen rather than carbon dioxide (CO2) to carbonate beer provides the beer with a creamier, smoother texture which complements this style of beer perfectly,” the company said.

Mornington Peninsula’s Matt Bebe explained the production process for the nitro cans, as well as the required pouring technique (below), in a recent interview with Australian Brews News.
