Temple releases Okinawa Sour

Okinawa Sour

Temple Brewing has released a fruit sour using the Shikuwasa fruit that growson Japan’s Okinawa Island.

Okinawa Sour is a clean, fresh and zesty beer with flavours of citrus rind and a grippy fruit tartness.

“We have been working on this for the last six months, after we were introduced to the fruit by Fumi Tamura, owner of the Japanese bar Horse Bazaar Melbourne,” Temple’s Mark Waghorne told Australian Brews News.

Okinawa Sour is currently available on tap at Temple Brewery andHorse Bazaar Melbourne, with kegs becoming available nationally later this month.

A permanent addition to Temple’s range, it will be available in bottles from late March.
