The competition will take place at the Claremont Showground commencing on Monday 13 June 2011. Some 250 entries entered in last year’s competition (164 commercial entries and 86 amateur entries) will again highlight the high quality of beers being produced around Australia.
A free freighting option is now available to interstate commercial exhibitors, with venue collection points in central Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. Exhibitors must deliver their entry to one of the three central locations and SCT Logistics will deliver their entry to the Perth Royal Beer Show for Judging free of charge. Entries close 29 April.
A total of fifteen trophies will be awarded to commercial and amateur beers in categories including best: lager, ale , stout draft, reduced alcohol and wheat beer. Six special trophies will be awarded to commercial and amateur beers such as Best Amateur Brewer, Best Amateur Beer of the Show, Best Champion Commercial Brewery, Best Commercial Beer of Show, Best WA Brewery, Best WA Beer of Show.
