In more Local Taphouse news, the Local Bottlestore & Provisions in St Kilda is now open and to launch their unique growler delivery service in their local neighbourhood, they are running a competition every bit as unique.
They’re asking for people to make up their own imaginative, original and clean (!) story – in 100 words or less – as to how beer growlers were given their name. The winner will have Ben Kraus from Bridge Road personally deliver to his/her home on their vintage delivery bicycle a free growler of his Anniversary Black Saison on July 19th. To be eligible for the delivery, you must live within 3km of the St Kilda Taphouse (use Google maps if you’re not sure) and be home from 6pm-7pm on the 19th. They will also find a fun prize for the best answer from a non-local!
The comp starts now and goes for just two weeks. Email them to [email protected] by midnight July 15th.
