Survey reveals Cascade as Australia’s most loved beer

Cascade Brewery Co, Australia’s oldest brewery, has achieved the ultimate satisfaction rating as voted by beer drinkers in Australia. In a national survey, Cascade has secured the title over leading brands including Coopers, Boag’s, Peroni and XXXX.

In the national consumer survey conducted by Canstar Blue, Cascade Brewery Co secured a five star rating in areas of overall customer satisfaction, price and availability.

Within the survey group of 2,500 Australian consumers, those who had consumed beer within the last six months were asked questions to measure satisfaction of a range of different beer brands. Of all beer brands surveyed, Cascade scored the highest overall rating meaning it has Australia’s most satisfied beer drinkers.

Head brewer of Cascade, Mike Unsworth is delighted with the acknowledgement and recognition of Australia’s oldest and much loved beer brand.

NOTE: Canstar Blue commissions Colmar Brunton to survey 2,500 Australian consumers across a range of categories every few months to measure and track customer satisfaction. The outcomes reported are the results from beer drinkers within the survey group. To qualify, the customer has to have consumed a beer in the last six months. The surveys are designed to pick up as many providers as possible. It misses most craft brands due to sample size – for example small local brands or niche brands where their market share is currently low.

Cascade took out a five star rating in the categories of overall satisfaction, price and availability.

Coopers was voted number one by its customers for taste, with Corona scoring top marks for its packaging and Peroni customers most satisfied with the brand’s image.
