Paul Mercurio shows Melbourne how to cook with beer

The Bluetongue Bar – Taste of Melbourne

15th September: Bluetongue Premium Beer opened its Bluetongue Bar at the Royal Exhibition Building last night as part of Taste of Melbourne.

To celebrate, Bluetongue held the first of two cooking demonstrations with Paul Mercurio. Well known for his passion for cooking with beer, Paul showed off his skills with a special demonstration, cooking his own Herb Marinated Quail recipe with Bluetongue‟s Traditional Pilsener beer, made exclusively for Taste of Melbourne customers.

Madeleine Stockwell, Brand Manager of Bluetongue said “We are delighted to have Paul on board to help us showcase the great taste of Bluetongue beer, and hope that customers will enjoy his next special demonstration on Saturday”.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this amazing event and excited to be able to share our triple hopped Bluetongue beers with Melbournians, particularly in the lead up to summer.”

As well as cooking demonstrations, the Bluetongue Bar will host a number of activities throughout the four day event including beer tasting master classes with and experienced Bluetongue brewer, and beer and cheese matches classes partnering with Jindi Cheese.
