4 Pines goes national

With distribution proving to be a major issue facing Australian small breweries, Sydney-based 4 Pines has completed another piece in the getting-beer-to-market puzzle securing South Australian distribution.

The 4 Pines Brewery, which both brews beer at its five hectolitre Manly home and utilises contract brewing arrangements while in the process of commissioning its own 50-hectolitre production brewery, has finalised a South Australian distribution agreement through Empire Liquor.

“Obviously a great thing for us at 4 Pines, as we can now get our beer to most people in Australia, in a timely and cost effective manner, finally giving us true national reach,” said 4 Pines general manager, Jaron Mitchell.

“With the new brewery build happening as we speak, it is a fantastic feeling that we will be able to share our passion for great beer via the 4 Pines range to the majority of Australia, when the new brewery finally comes online.”

This announcement follows the signing of a distribution agreement for Western Australia in in May with Off The Vine.
