Destination Dejustation

Justin McPhail is one half of the beer promotional powerhouse that is Bendigo Beer, that has been spreading the good word about great beer in Bendigo and beyond for more than two years.

Following that, and with encouragement from foodies, farmers and producers, Justin has decided to create his own ‘degustation’ food brand, Dejustation.

He says the idea Dejustation is to create a unique food experience via themed events.

“No Heston Blumenthal ‘mad hatter’ style parties just yet, we’re starting small with the theme of Spring,” Justin told us in an email.

His first event, Spring Lamb is outlined below but it will be preceded by a trial event, Dejustation Beta, which will feature 3 courses from the main event on October 26. They both look like corkers.

You can find out more information about Dejustation here, as well as keep in touch on Facebook and Twitter.

You can book for $40 Dejustation Beta here, and book for the $99 Spring Lamb Main Event here.

Spring Lamb

6 courses of whole beast style feasting. We have sourced two of Jararra farm’s finest sheep from their Harcourt based stud.

With a twist on traditional dining, and a focus on food as a conversation, our Chef Lee Bryant will be crafting simple dishes with big flavours.

Held in the Goldmines Hotel’s historic Victoria dining room, the night will have food and beverage pairing, including craft beer and Bendigo wine.

The night is $99, bookings essential.
