Brewing help wanted – NSW

January 7, 2013 by Help Wanted

HelpWantedWith a couple of helpful responses already to my recent shout-out for a Brewhouse to get a new brewer on his brewing feet, it seems we may have discovered a new use for that wonderful little web-based instrument we call Brews News.

Can you make beer? Are you really, really good at? Really?! Are you able to make some beer for someone else who needs it and can give you a forecast of what they need and when?

Then maybe you can help. A NSW based brewer is looking to have some beer brewed off-site to supplement the quantities and styles currently on offer. If you have some spare capacity and would like to discuss the possibility of working and playing well together, please contact [email protected] and let’s see if we can’t make everybody happy and well-watered.

Specs;

Quantity: 80-120 kegs per month

Frequency: 2-3 brews per month, depending on brewery size

Style: 2-3 Ale type beers

Delivery method:   Required in 50l kegs and 330ml bottles (those with keg-only plants are welcome to apply)

Start Date: 1 month ago

As you can see, a quick response would be greatly appreciated. Let’s see how quickly the craft beer community can gather around and lend a hand!

    The simple fact of the matter is that most of the breweries that had room for a few contract brews a month are now selling more beer and simply don’t have fermentation tanks available to accommodate all the current contract brewers.

    It might make more sense for several contract breweries to back themselves with a system and share the costs. It’s not going to get any better.
