In April 2011, brewer Ben Kraus and chef Anthony Simone first brought their High Country beer and food fusion to the city with a sold out and very well received feast at Beer DeLuxe in Melbourne.
Saving you from the three hour car drive from Melbourne to north east Victoria’s High Country, the region’s finest flavour experiences will be served up in the city.
Harvest season beer and food will be presented by the leading culinary practitioners from Bright, with Anthony Simone of Simone’s and Hamish Nugent of Tani Eat & Drink, as well as Mt Hotham’s Tsubo Bar & Restaurant. The produce will all be sourced from Victoria’s High Country and each course will be matched with beers from Beechworth’s Bridge Road Brewers, presented by Ben Kraus.
Bringing it all together will be Beer DeLuxe Head Chef Jake Furst.
Come along to discover the stories of Victoria’s High Country food and beer.
Perhaps the country’s best ‘beer and hop chef’, Anthony Simone, will team up with Hamish Nugent of Tsubo restaurant to bring you an amazing evening of beer and food. Beer and its ingredients will be the focus of this dinner, and all matched with a complete complement of beer from the acclaimed Beechworth brewery, Bridge Road Brewers.
