Taking beer back to basics at The Embassy

For all of Brisbane’s current beery blessings, the city CBD still lags behind the inner-city suburbs that ring it in terms of beery goodness.

The Embassy has set about changing that with a stylish venue with a comprehensive craft offering, good food and regular beer events.

Their next series of events are Back to Basics classes in which the beer curious will be taken through a selection of common craft beer styles, while getting hands-on with ingredients and an introduction to beer and food matching.

Hosted by Australian Brews News editor, Matt ‘BeerMatt‘ Kirkegaard, these classes are designed to answer every question you had about craft beer but were too afraid to ask.

With 10 beer samples, three courses and tasting notes, the Embassy Back to Basics classes are the way to jump start your beer knowledge…

Food matching included:

1st Course Cheese and Charcuterie platter including confit dug leg and mustard fruits
2nd Course Barramundi Slider & a Beef & blue cheese slider accompanied with onion rings
3rd Course Chocolate stout Affagato with Almond Biscotti
