Charity Brew to Raise $10,000 for Australian Cancer Research Foundation

Help brew up a World Record – “Most People to Ever Brew a Beer”

Ever wanted to be a brewer? Here’s your chance.

Thunder Road Brewing Co. is holding a world record event to raise funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

No previous brewing experience is needed and anyone can join in! For a $10 donation, each volunteer brewer will help brew and then be entitled to collect a 750 ml bottle of the beer when it’s ready for release.*

There will also be a swag of exciting activities including food and entertainment throughout the day. So even if volunteers only spend a few minutes helping out, they can still relax, enjoy some beer tasting and watch others in the brewing effort.

Volunteers will also get their say on the type and style of beer brewed on the day by voting in an on-line survey at Thunder Road’s Facebook page.

All funds raised will be donated to The Australian Cancer Research Foundation(ACRF) to support their important work. The ACRF is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that awards grants to cancer research organisations, specifically for high-end equipment purchases and infrastructure development.

To register and vote on the beer style to be brewed, complete the online form via the Thunder Road Facebook page.

Or by Smartphone.

*Volunteers of all ages can participate, but only those 18 years or older can collect a bottle of the finished beer.
