Sydney’s ultimate celebration of beer and cider, The Annual Australian Beer Festival, will return to celebrate its 10th year at the original home of Australian craft beer, The Australian Heritage Hotel in The Rocks from 17-19 October 2014.
As part of the Festival, Australia’s best home brewers are invited to take part in this year’s Home Brew Championship to put their beer-making skills to the test. A select panel of beer experts and enthusiasts will judge the entrants and the winners will be announced on Monday 15 September.
The prizes are priceless for any major beer enthusiast. First prize includes flights, transfers and a VIP tour of the Cascade Brewery in Tasmania, plus a VIP package for the winner and a friend at this year’s Beer Festival with a night’s accommodation at the Shangri-La in The Rocks. Coupled with a beer garden, blind tastings, Meet The Brewer sessions, live entertainment and lots of fun activities, this year’s festival is set to be the biggest and best yet.
