Last chance to register events for Craft Beer Rising

Craft Beer RisingBrewers and beer lovers will be raising glasses of local Australian beer at dozens of events across the country when Craft Beer Rising returns on February 28.

The annual celebration of local beer was launched by The Crafty Pint in 2014, with 100 events that included new brewery launches, cricket matches, bus tours and more.

Already registered for 2015 are more new brewery launches, ping pong and lawn bowls competitions, collaborations, tap takeovers – even a cooperage display.

Anyone wanting to register an event can do so at craftbeerrising.com.au/register-your-event/. To have event posters sent to your venue, please register by midday on February 13.

Crafty Pint founder James Smith says: “With drinkers being bombarded with new beers from all directions these days, we decided to launch Craft Beer Rising as a fun way for people to reconnect with their local breweries and beers.

“From tap takeovers and new brews to brewery tours and the second family-friendly Big Bashes cricket match in St Kilda, there’s heaps of ways for beer lovers to come together with mates to celebrate the craft beer revolution that’s sweeping the country.”

You can find events near you at craftbeerrising.com.au, look out for updates on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #CBR2015, or keep an eye on the Craft Beer Rising Australia Facebook page for latest events too.
