Mountain Goat adds Surefoot cans

Mountain Goat has released its winter seasonal Surefoot Stout in cans for the first time.

Surefoot Stout is Mountain Goat’s third can release, following on from Fancy Pants and Summer Ale, both of which were very successful in the format.

Surefoot registers 30 IBUs and is five per cent ABV, employing East Kent Goldings hops together with ale, crystal and black malts as well as flaked barley for added mouthfeel.

“We first brewed this one back in 1998, and it’s become a seasonal favourite ever since. The Surefoot is a sweet stout, full of dark roasted malts,” the brewer said.
