Sydney Craft Beer Week back for 2016

IMG_0175Boom Shaka-lager! Sydney’s largest celebration of craft beer, Sydney Craft Beer Week is back for its sixth year in 2016. Mark your calendars and join in the pursuit of hoppyness from Saturday 22nd October to Sunday 30 October 2016.

2015 saw 130 craft beer-related events held across 70 of Sydney’s leading venues and outdoor spaces, which included everything from Beergustations and Hair of the Dog Breakfasts, to tap takeovers and axe throwing tournaments. Sydney’s love of craft beer continues unabated as the festival’s audience grows by over 200% year on year.

Joel Connolly, Festival Director says “Sydney Craft Beer Week brings together devoted brewers and beer enthusiasts for a week of incredible craft beer events. To whet the appetite for a week of beer guzzling fun, our annual Opening Gala Night returns to kick things off on Friday 21 October”,

“We are also seeing the return of some favourites, including “Pint of Origin: The Schooner Edition” taking you on a beer adventure across state lines”, says Connolly.
