A crowd favourite from Cavalier Brewing’s formative year will return for the Brewers Feast Beer Festival this weekend.
A true to style Bavarian Hefeweizen, Cavalier Weizen saw the fledgling company honoured as best new brewery and best beer at the Victorian Microbrewery Showcase in March 2011.
“A mix of banana, subtle bubblegum, clove and spicy aromas are backed up by a soft, bready, slightly sweet malt flavour, finishing with a mild tartness,” Cavalier said of the beer.
Cavalier Weizen is a festival beer and collaboration with Brewers Feast, which takes place at the Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne on Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29.
Brewers Feast is a craft beer festival showcasing the best Victorian craft beer, gourmet food and live music.
