Hard launch for Tallboy and Moose

Founders Dan and Steven

Small Brewery Update: Melbourne start-up Tallboy and Moose showcased its first three beers brewed in-house at a launch event in its Preston taproom on Thursday December 8.

The new beers include a single hop pale ale employing the American hop Bitter Gold, an American style IPA that blends Mosaic, Chinook and Columbus, and an ESB.

Tallboy and Moose opened to the public on October 21, having brewed its first batches of beer at the Public Brewery in Croydon.

The taproom is now open five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday, after a soft launch of being open on Fridays and Saturdays only.

“A beer garden out the front will open in mid-December just in time for an arvo pint in the summer sun.”

Tallboy and Moose was founded by Dan Hall, formerly of breweries including Hawkers, Brewcult and Moondog, and beer sales and marketing professional Steven Germain.
