Dainton seeks investor and strategist

Dan and Kev Dainton

Dainton Family Brewery is seeking a marketing and business strategist to partner with its founders as they look to leverage the company’s recent success at the Craft Beer Awards.

Co-founder Dan Dainton told Brews News the prospective partner would ideally have first hand beer industry experience or at least a FMCG background.

“We don’t really need capital, [it’s] more that we need help in marketing and business growth strategy,” he said.

Dan Dainton oversees brewing and sales at the company, while his business partner and father Kev contributes business acumen from a long career running his own company in the computing industry.

“We’ve identified that we need help in the marketing department and have big plans to get more beer out there. We just don’t really know the best way to do it,” Dan Dainton says.

“I’d love to hear from you if you have the passion and drive to take on something huge. I value integrity, communication, passion and workability. I am big on results and action. If this sounds like you (and I haven’t scared you off) then please drop me a line.”

New distribution
Last week, Dainton told Radio Brews News that the company had recently entered into a new distribution agreement with Phoenix Beer.

“They have excellent national coverage as well as coverage in the big national retailers… Our plan is to get into those bigger chains and also hit up the independents in each state as well,” he said.

“We believe that we are on the right track and our access to market is probably the best it’s ever been and winning the award should help our pull through.”
