This week we are joined by Chris Kelly from East Coast Canning.
Craft beer in cans has been one of the sweeping trends in craft beer. The Australian Brewery was the first local brewery to follow the established US trend when they installed their canning line back in late 2012. A handful of brewers followed suit over the next few years before the floodgates really opened in 2014 when Chris established Australia’s first mobile canning business, East Coast Canning.
As you will hear it has been a wild ride for Chris, who now operates three mobile lines and services, well, Australia’s East Coast.
It’s a really thoughtful chat with Chris and he shares his journey, the challenges that he has faced through the explosive demand for his service and his thoughts about where we are at in the world of craft beer distribution.
