Cocktails with Gin and Ales, The Champions of the Brewstillery Mix Masters Announced.

The inaugural Brewstillery Mix Masters cocktail competition created by Stone & Wood Brewery and Cape Byron Distillery (creators of Brookie’s Gin) recently hosted the regional finals, with seven lucky winners joining the Brewstillery team in Byron Bay for the ultimate bartender experience.

During the past two weeks, finalists were invited to a bartender’s showdown at seven different locations across the nation. The challenge to mix Brookie’s Gin with Stone & Wood Beer and include native ingredients was adjudicated. The judges were presented
with some epic creations and a huge array of native ingredients were applied to the Brewstillery concoctions.

Eddie Brook, Co-Founder at Cape Byron Distillery says, “We challenged bartenders to celebrate local native ingredients and mix them into their signature Brookie’s and Stone & Wood serves and the judges were treated to some awesome, very creative and imaginative drinks”.

“The winners will be rewarded to the ultimate Byron Bay experience, they will learn about the amazing diversity of native Australian ingredients and apply them to create a unique batch of Stone & Wood Beer and Brookie’s Gin”, Says Caolan Vaughan, Stone & Wood Head Brewer.

Massive congratulations to the following winners who will be packing their bags and living like a local in Byron Bay next week with the Brewstillery team.
