To drive greater awareness and engagement in Movember’s efforts to tackle men’s health issues, Melbourne’s Stomping Ground Brewing Co. has committed to donate $75,000 to the charity for the second year running.

With the support of bars and bottleshops all over Australia selling their popular ‘Gipps St.’ Pale Ale on tap, or in new limited edition cans, and industry suppliers Bintani, Liquex and Onpack, Stomping Ground’s initiative allows both men and women to support Movember, whether they can grow a mo or not.

A central part of the campaign is a short film, ‘Make Mo’ Mate Time’, made in collaboration with Lutman Films, encouraging people to reconnect with male friends and have a chat – an important part of keeping them feeling connected to their communities.

Stomping Ground Brewing Co. first partnered with Movember in 2017 and donated $75,000 to help with their efforts to address some of the biggest health issues faced by men – prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

Stomping Ground Co-Founder Steve Jeffares said, “We are so proud of our ongoing partnership with Movember and the fact that a small, local brewery like ours will have donated $150,000 in just two years is testament to how many men and women there are around the country keen to help us support Movember’s important work – simply by enjoying a beer.”
