Mango Pineapple Sour | Lost Palms Brewing Co

Lost Palms Brewing Co has teamed up with international spirits company, Dead Man’s Fingers Rum, for a new release ‘spiked’ sour.

The beer is a 6.5% abv Fruited Kettle Soured Berliner Weisse blended with coconut rum.

Lost Palms’ sales representative Zak Nalder said that the collaboration was inspired by the use of sour beers in cocktails mixing.

“We experimented with Dead Man’s Fingers Rum range in a few of our existing sour styles until we honed in on the Coconut Rum variant as the most potential for blending into a sour beer,” he said.

The flavour is reminiscent of piña coladas and tropical fruit with slight sourness, balanced by the sweetness of the coconut rum, the Lost Palms team said.

It will launch on the 15th of March at Bine Bar & Dining in Nobbys Beach.

Red XPA | Bright Brewery

Bright Brewery has announced the return of Red XPA, coinciding with the autumn season.

The Red Ale has a grain bill comprising of 92 per cent Red X as well as Pale and Melanoidin malt.

Other additions include Amarillo, Centennial, Citra and Columbus hops along with American Ale yeast.

Bright say the Red XPA was brought to life by head brewer Reid Stratton, with the original huge malt hit and a deep ruby red colour.

It is available now at Bright Brewery and through select stockists.

Epsom Stout | Braeside Brewing Co

Braeside Brewing Co has released a new beer, the Epsom Stout.

The beer is made using seven grains, including Honey and Chocolate malt as well as Roasted Barley and Rolled Oats.

It includes East Kent Golding hops, Epsom salts and tastes of roasted coffee, burnt biscuit and almonds, say Braeside’s brewers.

At 4.5% the beer is available now at Braeside Brewing Co.

Road Trip IPA | Holgate Brewhouse

Holgate Brewhouse has released its Road Trip IPA in new 375ml cans.

The 6.0% abv beer contains Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic hops.

Pine, citrus and tropical fruit flavours can be expected, backed by a foundation of bitterness.

The cans are available to purchase now at select bottle shops and venues.

Vampyre Lovers Red IPA | Akasha Brewing Company

Akasha Brewing Company has teamed up with Newstead Brewing Co to release a collaboration Red IPA.

Akasha say the beer is a tipping of the hat to 1980’s Brisbane punk rock band ‘Vampyre Lovers’.

Sabro and Bru-1 hop varieties are added to a Red malt base creating pineapple, coconut, vanilla and passionfruit flavours.

The beer will be available for a limited time at the Akasha and Newstead breweries.

Low Hanging Fruit DNEIPA | Deeds Brewing

The Low Hanging Fruit DNEIPA is the latest limited release drop by Deeds Brewing.

The beer is the first of a series of DIPAS Deeds plan to release in 2020.

Deeds say it contains mango and pineapple and has been heavily hopped.

At 8% abv it is available for a limited time at select stockists, as well as on tap at the Deeds Brewery.

Fortune Teller | The Grifter Brewing Co

The Grifter Brewing Co has teamed up with Future Mountain Brewing for a new collaborative beer release.

Fortune Teller is a 4.9% abv Witbier with fresh blueberries and dried lavender additions.

Warrior and Rakau hops were used in the beer along with Pilsner and Wheat malts.

Grifter says it is a delightful marriage of fruit, floral and spice characters, with a lovely deep lilac colour.

It is available now, tapped at Grifter Brewing Co.

Blackberry Gose | Black Brewing Co

Blackberry Gose is the latest autumn inspired beer release from Black Brewing Co.

At 5% abv Black say it’s a salty beer with low bitterness and subtle tartness from the additions of black berries.

Blackberry Gose is available on tap and in select venues across throughout Perth and the south west.
