Great show as always guys, and I loved Ben’s marketing innovation, but thank you Matt for calling him out on quality.
Does craft offer more innovation? Absolutely, Are craft beers generally more full of diverse flavours? Totally! Do big breweries make poor quality products? No. Or at least rarely. You know I have worked extensively in big brewery quality, and while I may not always like the product, they spend a lot of time, a lot of money and have a lot of passionate dedicated people to make sure quality is king.

Telling the public that big beer makes poor quality products is just plain false!

Let craft shine by example by leading innovation, not building straw men. ?

“In manufacturing, a measure of excellence or a state of being free from defects, deficiencies and significant variations. It is brought about by strict and consistent commitment to certain standards that achieve uniformity of a product in order to satisfy specific customer or user requirements.”
