Edith Cowan University will be running a brewing short Course at Joondalup Campus, this coming July.

The course will cover all aspects of the brewing process from malting to finished product and will cover practical problem-solving sessions for common brewing faults.

All course materials are provided along with lunch and refreshments. Lectures and practical exercises will be presented by ECU brewing staff and guest industry presenters. The course also includes industrial visits to malting and brewing companies.

The course will benefit anybody already working in the malting and brewing industry wishing to update their skills, those preparing for the Institute of Brewing and Distilling General Certificate exams or those considering entering the brewing industry.

The course delves into the science of malting and brewing processes so a reasonable understanding of scientific principles at higher secondary level would be an advantage. Participants will be expected to have a working knowledge of the brewing process
