Brix Distillers, Sydney’s very own dedicated rum distillery and bar in Surry Hills, is partnering with the guys at Young Henrys Brewery to release aravishing rum and raisin brown ale called ‘Rumming with the Devil’.

This very adult, very limited-edition beverage hopefully rummages up memories of that childhood ice cream classic and is best enjoyed with old friends, family and a block of dark chocolate. It’s solid malt bill creates a rich, roasty, biscuity flavour and aroma with hints of cocoa and spice.

Shane Casey, Brix head distiller reckons it’s liquid gold: “Brix White-soaked Aussie raisins and craft beer – is a classic combination, a bloody no brainer if you ask me.”

This release is part of Young Henrys Brewers B-Sides series where the brewers get to play around with new or weird flavours. This concoction is the work of brewer Harrison Chant.

Rumming with the Devil is available for a very limited time (like, a few weeks at best) on tap at Brix Distillers Surry Hills, Young Henrys Newtown, and selected bars and pubs across the country from Thursday 11 July.

The limited release collab is set to be poured at a shindig next Thursday 11 July at Brix Distillers from 6.30pm – 10pm. Check out theBrix Facebook pagefor event details.
