August 16, 2019 by Kataryna McMillan

Fruit Tang Clan, Two Birds Brewing

Victoria based Two Birds Brewing has dropped a limited release tropical sour.

The beer is a fruity kettle sour with hints of mango, guava and pineapple in every mouthful, said Two Birds.

Coming in at 4.7% abv, it will be available on keg at the following stockists:

Victoria: Two Birds Nest, Thornbury Local, Carwyn Cellars, Fancy Hanks, Chip’s Loft, Hop Temple, The Goods Shed

New South Wales: To All My Friends, Blind Bear, The Welcome Hotel, Carlisle Castle, Monkey Bar

Queensland: Sneaky Baron, Scratch Bar, Tipplers Tap South Bank

Belgian Dubbel, Felons Brewing Co

Felons Brewing have a limited release dark Belgian Dubbel this Ekka.

The Dubbel has 100% Euro hops, a Pilsner Malt base with an addition of Belgian dark candi syrup.

It lifts aromas of banana, mixed spice and clove. Flavours of chocolate, raisin and prunes are complimented by a lingering warmth and smooth finish, says Felon.

With 8% abv, this brew will be available on tap only.

Inversion, Bright Brewery

Bright Brewery have a new NEIPA release this winter, Inversion.

The tropical juicy Inversion NEIPA features Vermont Ale yeast from the American brewery where the NEIPA style first originated.

It has New World Idaho 7, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops all laid down during fermentation.

With 6.7% abv, it is on tap at Bright Brewery now and will be hitting shelves around Melbourne and Victoria this week.

It is also available to purchase directly through the Bright Brewery website.

Everleigh, Urban Alley Brewery

This cream ale is a collaboration between Urban Alley Brewery and The Everleigh.

In time for The Everleigh’s 8th birthday, Urban Alley says the brew reflects the same care and attention that The Everleigh team shows their cocktails and more importantly, their guests.

The 4.3% abv cream ale boasts Victorian Super Pride and Enigma hops with Wyeast 2112 California Lager, fermented at 15-17 C.

Australian ale malt is used, mixed with flaked corn, malted wheat and Coopers schooner heritage malt.
