Alice Springs Brewing Co has won its first major award at the 2019 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards held in Alice Springs on 16th November.

Alice Springs Brewing Co nominated in the category of Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries was subject to a rigorous quality assessment and further judging before taking out the award.

Owner Kyle Pearson said at the awards, “It is fantastic and humbling to accept this award. As a business that is all but 18 months old, I would never imagine we would be acknowledged and recognised amongst other tourism businesses of this calibre. All this being said we will not rest on the accolades of tonight. We are absolutely committed to be an innovator of industry in the Red Centre and will continue to strive to be a creator of great beer, employment and a new tourism experience that adds value and quality for visitors to our region.”

Pearson went on to thank his shareholders, his staff including head brewer Brian Young and had special thanks for his partner Sarah Hore.

By winning this award Alice Springs Brewing Co is nominated for the category at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards which will be held in March 2020 in Canberra.
