With free brewery tours, a brewing demonstration, giveaways and live entertainment all day long, there’s no better way to spend your long weekend.
Kicking off at 11am, brewery tours will be running until 5pm, giving a behind-the-scenes look at how everyone’s favourite Felons Brewing Co. beers are made.
For those interested in trying their hand at brewing their own beer, Head Brewer, Tom Champion, will be leading a demonstration to brew a one-off beer with the Brisbane community.
“Our annual brewery open day is our way of saying thank you to the local community that supports us year-round. We’re excited to fire up our demonstration brewery kit and give people the chance to brew a special one-of-a-kind beer with us,” said Tom.
Felons Brewing Co. are donating profits from all Natural Ale poured in January and February to the Queensland Fire & Emergency Services and WIRES.
As part of the Brewery Open Day, Felons Brewing Co. are also bringing back a keg of their highly popular and tropical fruit-driven limited-edition Charcoal Pineapple Sour.
Live entertainment begins at 11am, with the line-up including DJ’s Ben Reeve, Limestone Cowboy and Katch, who will all be spinning vinyl records, along with live music from band Groove or Die and duo D2, making the Brewery Open Day the perfect place to celebrate the long weekend.
With giveaways including Felons Brewing Co. merchandise and a $400 brewery experience voucher all up for grabs, Felons Brewing Co’s Brewery Open Day is perfect for an outing for the whole family, with face painters and balloon twisters entertaining the kids from 2pm – 4pm, while the adults can enjoy an icy cold Felons beer as they take in the stunning views from the brewery’s riverfront position.
