Pink Boots brew day at Stomping Ground on February 8, 2019

It’s International Women’s Day today, and with it, the launch of Pink Boots Society‘s collaboration brew with Melbourne’s Stomping Ground Brewery.

Island Time South Pacific Ale is a Belgian-style beer brewed with hibiscus, coriander and orange.

For Stomping Ground brewer Charlotte Feehan, brewing with almost twenty women from Pink Boots was an especially memorable experience.

“We were really lucky to work with some really amazing women from all over the beer industry in Melbourne and I was lucky enough to take them through a brew!” Feehan said.

The limited-edition can has been designed by renowned Melbourne artist Justine McAllister, who Stomping Ground has previously collaborated with on their summer pop up beer gardens La Boca at Arts Centre Melbourne and ‘Terminal 3 1⁄2’ at Melbourne Airport.

The beer will be released at the World’s Longest Lunch and River Graze events as well as better bars, restaurants and independent bottle shops across Melbourne.

Moon Dog Craft Brewery ‘Thunder Lips’

Melbourne’s Moon Dog Craft Brewery has released its first seasonal in cans. Thunder Lips Yuzu Red IPA is a 6% ABV zesty, citrusy beer.

The recipe has been updated slightly for this release, so it’s a new one for fans.

La Sirène ‘Season Ale’

La Sirène‘s latest release is a “cloudy” yet “luminous” ale brewed to suit all 12 months of the year. The brewery has said to expect soft, fruity characters of honeydew, papaya and lime.

Season Ale will be available nationwide from Friday, March 16.
