Mango Pineapple Sour | Lost Palms Brewing Co
Lost Palms Brewing Co has teamed up with international spirits company, Dead Man’s Fingers Rum, for a new release ‘spiked’ sour.
The beer is a 6.5% abv Fruited Kettle Soured Berliner Weisse blended with coconut rum.
Lost Palms’ sales representative Zak Nalder said that the collaboration was inspired by the use of sour beers in cocktails mixing.
“We experimented with Dead Man’s Fingers Rum range in a few of our existing sour styles until we honed in on the Coconut Rum variant as the most potential for blending into a sour beer,” he said.
The flavour is reminiscent of piña coladas and tropical fruit with slight sourness, balanced by the sweetness of the coconut rum, the Lost Palms team said.
It will launch on the 15th of March at Bine Bar & Dining in Nobbys Beach.
