Brews News is a small independent publishing business. We rely on the support of breweries that subscribeto our news service, and their support ensures we can continue to provide our robust industry coverage .

You can support us at this time by supporting the businesses that support us. We have come up with a list of what our subscribers are doing to respond to the challenges they are facing and the ways you can purchase from them.

We receive nothing from your purchase, but it will help the businesses that support us survive. There is also a comprehensive list of what the entire industry is doing through the Crafty Pint’s Keeping Local Alive campaign.


Aether Brewing

Brisbane’s Aether Brewing is currently working to bring back its Hemp Double IPA and Peanut Butter Stout to release as soon as possible.

It is also working on possible delivery options. Aether is also offering up its Chaotic Good Mid Strength Pilsner for the Local Love Indie Beer Mixed Pack, available at Newstead Brewing Co’s Castlemaine St drive-thru. It sold out last week so keep your eyes peeled.

In the meantime, Aether founder Dave Ward is setting up an interactive online beer festival, The Beer Lounge. It will involve 30 breweries, and the plan is to have head brewers select their favorite beer to feature in a 30-pack which will be sent out to ticket holders. There will be live stream of the brewers talking about their brands, the beers they chose and other Q&As.

Details are still being finalised, but check out Aether’s socials for the Beer Lounge, coming to a laptop near you.


Akasha Brewing Company

Takeaway cans and growler fills are currently available at Sydney’s Akasha Brewing Company between 12pm to 6pm.

Local and Sydney Metro customers can place a click and collect order or order for local delivery on their website.

Akasha, which recently celebrated its 5th birthday, have also released two new beers. Wooden Leg Triple IPA and Hazy Mosaic IPA will be available for takeaway from the tasting room from 7th April.


All Inn Brewing Co

Brisbane-based All Inn Brewing Co are currently offering a squealer and fill for $19 or $29 for a growler and fill from 12-7pm. Keg fills are also currently discounted at 20% off.

All the promotions are available now for a limited time at their Brisbane-based brewery.


Australian Brewery

Sydney-based Australian Brewery‘s cellar door is now open for drive-thru sales. Customers just beep when they pull up at the brewery and one of its brewers will be right out to serve you.

Trading hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, and it’s card only.


Bad Shepherd Brewing Co

Melbourne’s Bad Shepherd beers are now available for home delivery to Melbourne Metro. Free local delivery is available to suburbs within 5km of the brewery as well as any online order over $50.

They also have food available, which can be ordered for pick up or delivery through this link.

Ballistic Beer Co

Brisbane’s Ballistic Beer Co is offering home delivery for online purchases. The brewery is holding a virtual happy hour for its online store on Thursdays from 4pm to 9pm with specials, discounts and free local delivery.

On Friday nights its team are hosting ‘Ballistic Live‘ through a Facebook livestream, featuring COVID-19 impacts, Sabro IPA virtual tasting and a Q&A session. The brewery is also open for takeaways and update customers on changes in hours through their Facebook page.


Balter Brewing

Balter beer is available for takeaways from its brewery and taproom on the Gold Coast Wednesday through to Sunday from 2-8pm.


Barossa Valley Brewing

Barossa Valley Brewing is one of a number of breweries getting involved in the Heaps Goo Indie Beer pack, which also includes Prancing Pony, Mismatch Brewing Co and the Big Shed Brewing Concern.

Black Brewing Co

Black Brewing Co, based in the Margaret River area of WA, has partnered with Dune Distilling to produce hand sanitiser. It is currently only available to the local Margaret River community but the team are working to make it available to the wider Perth community. 700ml (currently sold out) and 200ml bottles are available to purchase, with bottles being donated to community groups in need.

While their restaurant has temporarily closed its doors, the cellar door remains open from 11am-3pm daily for takeaway beer, wine, gin and merchandise purchases only.

Its beers are available to purchase through their online store with cellar door specials on offer.


Beerfarm

Busselton-area brewery Beerfarm has launched a gourmet BBQ and beer drive-through with a Burnt Ends BBQ foodtruck.

The drive-through will be directly out the from of the Beerfarm Metricup venue, open on Fridays 3-7pm, Saturdays 11am-2pm and Sundays 11am-2pm. The menu will be rotating weekly and payments will be contactless methods only. For more info you can check the Beer and BBQ Facebook event page.

They have also launched a ‘Beerfarm Isolation Station’ Spotify playlist to bring some farm inspired tracks to your living room.


BentSpoke Brewing

ACT’s BentSpoke is offering food and beer pick up from their Braddon brewpub from 12-2pm and 5-7:30pm weekly, and are working towards local delivery and shipping.

They are also offering click and collect for beer from their Mitchell cannery, Monday to Friday 12-6pm and Saturdays 11am-4pm

Bodriggy Brewing Co

Melburne brewery Bodriggy’s beers and merchandise are available for purchase through their online store with free delivery on all orders over $100.

You can also purchase their eGift Cards at values of $50, $100, $150 or $200.

Braeside Brewing Co

Melbourne’s Braeside Brewing Co is currently open Fridays and Saturdays from 12-4pm for Growler sales including their new Archers Son IPA.

Growlers are available at $18 for one litre or $30 for two litres.

Brewmanity

Brewmanity‘s beer is now available to Victorians for online purchases with free shipping state-wide.


Brick Lane Brewing

Dandenong’s Brick Lane Brewing has teamed up with Other Half Brewing, Carwyn Cellars and Maha Go to brew an All Together Hazy IPA. For every case sold, the team will help provide two-person meals to a hospitality worker in need.

A case of 24 x 375ml cans will cost $78 plus delivery and is available for pre-order now from the Brick Lane and Carwyn Cellars websites.

Hospitality workers can also get their squealers filled for $5 and their growlers filled for $10 at its Queen Victoria Market taphouse. Non-hospitality workers can still take advantage of the deal with $10 squealers and $20 growlers.


Bridge Road Brewers

Bridge Road Brewershave organised a takeaway menu to cater for the local community of Beechworth. Takeaway options will be available from 11am-8:30pm every day with family meal deals and more.

Their beers are available through their online store with free shipping on all orders over $100 by using the code ‘beermunity’ at checkout (this offer excludes WA and NT).

Free delivery is available on orders over $80 within 40km of Melbourne CBD and free delivery to Bright and surrounds, of any order value. Bright Brewery is also offering free delivery on orders over $100 Australia wide.

Burleigh Brewing Co

Burleigh Brewing will be launching online beer delivery soon, with home delivery options. You can keep an eye out on their Facebook page for the launch details.

Its online store is still open to buy Burleigh Brewing merchandise and gift certificates.


Burnley Brewing

Burnley Brewing is operating its Melbourne bottleshop from 2-6pm Wednesday to Sunday, and is cooking up pizzas, available seven days a week, 4-8pm.


Capital Brewing Co

Capital Brewing Co has partnered with Underground Spirits distillery to produce a neutral-grain beer to be distilled into ethanol and turned into hand sanitiser. The hand sanitiser is being made for ACT health workers after the ACT Government reached out for help in the production of medical-grade sanitiser.

Canberra customers can order Capital beer through their online store, with free, next day delivery on orders over $100. Click and collect is also available for small-batch beers, six packs and cases. Capital have also released gift cards which can be purchased here.


Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co

Cheeky MonkeyBrewing Co have created a drive-thru bottleshop at their production brewery in Vasse.

Free shipping is currently available on online orders Australia wide. Customers also have the option to pay a flat rate of $7 on their orders for a ‘monkey surprise’.


Colonial Brewing

The Port Melbourne Colonial Brewing bottleshop will be open 12-6pm everyday for take away beer, wine and cocktails. They are also offering home deliveries within 5km of the Port Melbourne region. They are contactable on 0432 750 678.

Their Margaret River brewery is offering takeaway growlers, cartons and merchandise, open seven days a week from 12-4pm. Home delivery is also available by calling 9758 8177 or ordering online.

Dainton Brewery

Dainton Beer has launched direct brewery to retailer sales and is encouraging customers to get in touch through info@dainton.beer if customers want their favourite beers at their local bottle shops. The team is also offering free shipping on all orders over $100 from their online store.

An online Beer Masterclass is also potentially in the mix, seeing beer packages sent out to customers and then discussed in greater detail through one or two online sessions.


Deeds Brewing

Deeds Brewing Co have released gift vouchers available to purchase through their website.

Felons Brewing Co

While the whole of Howard Smith Wharves in Brisbane is closed, there are still Felons Brewing Co gift certificates available to help customers support the Brisbane brewery through this challenging time.


Feral Brewing Co

WA’s Feral Brewing Co has their online store up and running, with free delivery every Thursday and Friday on any cube or case of beer in Perth only.


Fixation Brewing Co

Melbourne’s Fixation Brewing Co is bringing the Incubator to its customers with two one-litre sharer bottles of new beers each week. As it is best enjoyed within 24 hours, Fixation is offering free same-day local delivery within 10km before 3pm each day.

The Fixation online store is up and running, with its core range and mixed packs available for free delivery to Melbourne metro on all orders over $30.

They have also opened the Hop Stop Drive Thru pop up shop at the Incubator for takeaway IPA and merchandise, open 1-4pm.


Foghorn Brewery

Newcastle residents can now order Foghorn Brewery beer over the phone on 049294721 or online through the online ordering platform.

Their brewhouse is also open for takeaway beer and food from 11am-8pm Wednesday to Sunday, with the kitchen open 11am-2pm and 5-8pm.


Fortitude Brewing

Fortitude Brewing is doing take away orders from their Mount Tambourine-based brewery.

You can check in on their Facebook page and get in touch or order take away food and beer.


Gage Roads Brewing Co

You can join Gage Roads Brewing Co on their Facebook page for a virtual Friday Frothy. To be featured, tag them in a snap with a Friday brew.


Glass House Brewery

Quensland’s Glass House Brewery is offering order pick up or delivery to local postcodes. You can place orders by phoning 07 5408 8190⁠ from 3-8pm Wednesday to Sunday.


Heads of Noosa Brewing Co

Heads of Noosa is offering drive-thru takeaway for its beer and food. Beer only from 12-6pm Monday to Thursday, or beer and food from 12-7:30pm Friday to Sunday. All food is prepared using ingredients from local suppliers. Additionally, if you work in the hospitality industry, you can show them a recent payslip or your RSA for half-priced food from their takeaway menu.

Takeaway beer is available outside regular trading hours from 10am-4pm, by ringing the buzzer at the front door.


Helios Brewing

Brisbane’s Helios Brewing is offering card-only drive-thru takeaway for their beers, 3-5:30pm from Monday to Saturday.


Hemingway’s Brewery

Hemingway’s Brewery in Far North Queensland is offering local customers to its sites delivery options. In Port Douglas, the Hemingways team are delivering local as far as Craiglie on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th April, and each Wednesday and Friday after. Menu and order details can be viewed here.

In Cairns, takeaways from the loading dock are available Wed 8th and Thur 9th at 4-6pm, and every Wed, Thur, Fri after 4-6pm.

Further afield, customers can go to Hemingway’s online shop.


Holgate Brewhouse

Holgate Brewhouse is offering free delivery to the Ballarat and Daylesford Regions for orders over $75. A range of cases are also now available from $50, through their online store. The Holgate Taproom will be operating as a bottleshop only, open 11am-6pm Sunday to Wednesday and 11am-9pm Thursday to Saturday.

Their takeaway food is also available via online order for pick up or delivery, with the kitchen open from 5-8:30pm Thursday to Saturday.


Jetty Road Brewery

You can purchase Jetty Road beers through their online store with free shipping on orders over $150.

They are also offering tinnie takeaway from Jetty Road HQ in the Mornington Peninsula from 12-5pm, seven days a week.


Modus Operandi Brewing

Modus Operandi are offering free delivery in Sydney (using code ‘SYDNEY’) and free shipping on orders over $100 to the rest of metro Australia (using code ‘METRO’).

MO are also giving customers a chance to win a case of beer a day through an Instagram competition. All you have to do is post a picture on Instagram of your car sporting a Modus sticker and tag @modusoperandibrewing with the hashtag #showusyourmo.


Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel

The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel in Sydney will be doing deliveries or pick up straight from their cellar door. Orders can be placed over the phone on (02) 9251 4044 or by emailing hotel@lordnelson.com.au.


Lost Palms Brewing Co

The Gold Coast’s Lost Palms Brewing Co is offering takeaway food and drinks and local beer delivery from their Miami brewery. Orders can be placed on UberEats, Bopple or over the phone on 0428 044 637.

Taproom takeaways are available Wednesday and Thursday from 11am-4pm. Taproom food takeaway is available on Friday and Saturday from 12-6pm and Sunday from 12-5pm.


Mismatch Brewing

Mismatch Brewing Co are offering free next day delivery for the Adelaide Hills and Adelaide metro on online orders over $50.

You can also visit their Lot 100 from 12-6pm, seven days a week, to pick up some takeaway beers. If you spend $50 their chefs will cook you a fresh wood-fire pizza to takeaway as well.


Moon Dog Craft Brewery

Moon Dog beer is available on the Victorian brewery’s online store with free same-day delivery to locals within 5km of the brewery. Both its Abbotsford and Preston locations are currently offering contactless home delivery.

Mountain Goat Beer

Mountain Goat is available for takeaway from the Melbourne brewery Monday to Saturday before 5pm. You can purchase two slabs of any of their core range of beers for $110 or two slabs for $90.


Nail Brewing

WA’s Nail Brewing is still available at select stockists, including the Cellarbrations Superstore, having added Nail mixed cubes to their delivery brews, $55.00 not including delivery fees.

New England Brewing Company

New England Brewing Co currently has discounted ‘lockdown’ cartons available through their online store.

You can call or place an order online for pick up at Uralla, NSW brewery or choose from other courier options.


Newstead Brewing Co

Newstead Brewing Co is offering free delivery Monday, Wednesday and Friday to selected locations between the Sunshine Coast and Tweed Heads. If you live within 10km of the breweries, free next day delivery is available seven days a week. Orders can be placed via their online store.

They also have a contact-free Buffalo Wing challenge on offer through their Newstead and Milton Brewpubs, with over ten thousand dollars worth of beer and prizes to be won.

Their Newstead Drive Thru is also selling food sourced from local businesses for takeaway, including mushrooms from Little Acre Gourmet Mushrooms, pastured eggs from Eggcettera and jalapeños from LOOP Growers.

Newstead, along with Aether Brewing, Black Hops Brewing, Sea Legs Brewing Co, Slipstream Brewing Co and Soapbox Beer, have released their Local Love Indie Beer Mixed Carton featuring 6 x 4 packs by local, independent breweries. Otherside Brewing Co

Otherside Brewing Co is working on an affordable new beer called the ‘Plan: C’ Simple Ale which will be available online from 9th April.

They are also offering free delivery on any order over $35 via their online storeusing the code ‘FREEDELIVERY’.


Prancing Pony Brewery

The Prancing Pony Brewshed in the Adelaide Hills is open from 10am-6pm for takeaway beers or you can order a carton to be delivered to you via their online store.

They have also teamed up with 12 other South Australian Independent breweries for their Heaps Good Indie Beer pack, currently available for pre-order. Orders will ship from April 7 or will be available for local pick up from selected locations (including Prancing Pony Brewery) from April 9.


Revel Brewing Co

Brisbane’s Revel Brewing Co is currently offering takeaways and deliveries of beer, wine and food. Their new Italian pizza, pasta and bread menu is now available online and orders can be placed hereor by calling them on 3899 5470.


Sea Legs Brewing

Brisbane’s Sea Legs Brewing is offering free local shipping on online orders over $100 and a flat rate of $5 for delivery to addresses within a 15km radius of the brewery.

They are also offering beer only takeaways on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12-5pm and beer and food takeaways Wednesday to Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday 12-6pm. Their takeaway menu can be found here. To place an order call their team on0480 178 695.

Sea Legs are also involved in Newstead Brewing Co’s Local Love Indie Beer Mixed Carton, which sol out last week – keep your eyes peeled on the participating brewery’s social media channels as it will be back.


Stomping Ground Brewing

Stomping Ground Brewing Co has a new mixed 12 pack of its beers available online. They are offering click and collect along with free delivery for orders over $35 to metro Melbourne through this link.

Their Collingwood Beer Hall is open for takeaway daily from 2-6pm from their loading dock at 96A Gipps Street.

Marrickville’s The Grifter Brewing Co is offering takeaway fro 12-6pm, seven days a week.

Two Bays Brewing

You can order Two Bays Brewing beers online to be delivered to your door through their online storewhere you can order two cartons of beer with 10% off.


Two Birds Brewing

Two Birds Brewing Co‘s Drive Thru is operating everyday from 4-7pm.

It is also also offering free delivery for online orders along with a further $10 off with the code ‘TOYOURDOOR’. To order you can head to the Two Birds online store.


Wayward Brewing Co

The Wayward Kerbside Pop-Up is currently open every day from 12-6pm, offering growler fills, mixed cases, limited released and more.

Willie Smiths Cider

Willie Smiths Cider has launched free delivery across Tasmania on their online store.


Willie The Boatman

Willie the Boatman is currently available for takeaway beers daily from 12-4pm.

Wolf of the Willows

Wolf of the Willows has just launched their new online store where you can purchase all of their beers including limited releases, latest merchandise plus mixed packs.

Beer and merchandise orders are being delivered free of charge when over $60 to metro Melbourne or over $100 to metro Sydney for full cases only.
