Deeds Brewing Co. has officially been granted approval for its Glen Iris taproom. It won a majority approval in council last month but needed to wait out a period in which it may have been subject to an appeal. Last Friday Retail Drinks, which represents Australia’s packaged retail liquor stores, announced that CEO Julie Ryan was stepping down. She helped found the organisation as it is now in 2018, and will be replaced by chief operating officer Michael Waters from 1st July 2020.

Prices have been announced for the WA container deposit scheme, which was pushed during the COVID-19 pandemic to October. Back then, an assistance package of up to $3.5 million was announced to support network participants impacted by scheme’s deferral.
