Founders First has become the latest business to launch an online B2B platform for its portfolio of brands.
It told the ASX today that it had partnered with Ultra Commerce, a company that specialises in digital commerce platforms.
Founders First said the move will allow it to “simplify sales for its independent craft portfolio” and extend the company’s brands in domestic and international markets “by deploying a globally scalable online commerce presence”.
Founders First managing director Mark Haysman told the ASX that the use of digital technologies helps “unlock value” for customers and brand partners, and was a “high priority” on the management team’s agenda.
“By leveraging the scalability of AWS [Amazon Web Services] we have the opportunity to further support and scale to meet the needs of more craft businesses into our network, grow quickly, and deliver on our customers needs,” Haysman said.
The news comes just two weeks after Founders First announced that it had doubled distribution in national retail chains owned by Coles and Woolworths.
