Ever dreamt of owning your own brewery or having your likeness on a beer? Co-Conspirators Brewing Company can make your dream a reality. Now’s your chance to become a part of the Co-Conspirators family through an exciting crowdfunding campaign. The campaign will help ‘raise the roof’ (literally) on the new Co-Conspirators Brewpub and gives investors the opportunity to own a share of Brunswick history.

Investors will receive a range of benefits including equity, exclusive access to events, plus priority tasting of new, exclusive beers. Additionally, lucky investors can be immortalised with their likeness featuring on a beer can as one of the Co-Conspirators iconic characters.

Co-Conspirators is the brainchild of two couples — Jacqui Sacco, Tim Martin, Maggie and Deon Smit. After 5 years of nomadic brewing, the team is excited to finally have a place to call home and realise their dream of opening a brewpub. The site will include a 195-person capacity venue, a kitchen, and a 12-hectolitre brewing system capable of producing 2000 litres onsite every week.

After viewing hundreds of potential brewpub sites, the Brunswick locals fell in love with a character-packed space located in their own backyard. The venue, formally a family-owned engineering company, has Brunswick train station, Sydney Road trams, the Upfield bike path and 1,500 new apartments, all less than 500m from the front door.

The team has a strong social and environmental conscience, so the brewpub is being built with sustainability in mind. Investment funds will be used to complete the brewpub as well as thermal and acoustic insulation.

Co-Conspirators Brewing Company has a history of conspiring with local producers, and they are looking forward to creating a local destination for independent beer and great food. In 2018, they partnered with Brunswick-based coffee roaster Padre Coffee to launch The Beancounter, a coffee porter. This year, they teamed up with Kooka’s Country Cookies and created a nostalgic pastry stout packed with raspberries and cacao nibs from Ratio Cocoa Roasters, Brunswick which is served with al Kooka’s cookie on the side.

From their first meeting at the local Merri Mashers homebrew club, the four founders have always shared the dream of opening their own Brewpub. The space will be a welcoming community hub, serving up quality independent beer and great food for locals.

Get onboard and live the dream of owning a share in a brewery!
