Wholesale beverages platform Kaddy today announced a partnership with Moon Dog Craft Brewery, making the Victorian brewer the 350th supplier to adopt Kaddy since the platform launched in October 2019.

Kaddy simplifies how liquor retailers and venue operators discover, connect and trade with beverages suppliers, effectively allowing any of Kaddy’s 1,350+ on and off premise customers to instantly connect and order with Moon Dog online – without the need for additional paperwork or credit apps. And with much of the nation facing renewed restrictions, it’s this ability to simplify wholesale trade that has been particularly appealing to both customers and suppliers.

“Moon Dog is excited to be live on the Kaddy platform which delivers such a fresh and simple platform to connect with customers and fulfil orders from,” says Sam Stroud, Moon Dog’s National Off Premise Sales Manager.

“If you’ve got a liquor license and ABN, you can set up a Kaddy account in 2 minutes and start trading,” says Rich Coombes, co-founder of Kaddy. “For a rapidly expanding craft brand like Moon Dog, Kaddy is a simple way to bring their amazing product portfolio to a wide range of trade customers – whether that’s in their own backyard of Melbourne or across state borders.”

Moon Dog bolsters Kaddy’s already expansive roster of 50+ Victoria-based beverages producers, including fellow craft brewers Hop Nation, Stomping Ground, Bridge Road Brewers and Brick Lane.

Going live in Victoria in the midst of the state’s 2020 marathon lockdown, Kaddy is now used by over 300 bars, bottleshops and restaurants in Victoria alone. And with other states now facing similar challenges, Coombes hopes Kaddy can be a useful resource to other operators in the same way.

“In the current climate, we understand trade customers are looking for the right brands, margin structures and operational efficiencies,” says Coombes.

“Our goal is that any venue or liquor retailer has the ability to access and trade with producers like Moon Dog, with as little friction as possible. Whether that’s removing the need for credit applications, offering flexible payment terms, or having one channel to keep up to date with the latest products and trends – by introducing Kaddy to more venues, we aim to increase the amount of business that is done with fast growing local producers like Moon Dog and help grow the overall pie of craft.”

Trade customers in NSW, ACT and Victoria can now use Kaddy to order with Moon Dog Craft Brewery. For more information, visit www.kaddy.com.au
