Hop Products Australia (HPA) were hoping to welcome their brewing customers on farm to share in the hustle, bustle and heady aromas of hop harvest in 2022. Unfortunately, COVID has once again forced them to keep the farms closed to anyone non-essential to protect the health of their team and the security of their crop. Instead, brewers and beer lovers around the world are invited to join HPA for a second instalment of virtual harvest.

This year, HPA will be taking you on a tour of their Victorian farms as well as exploring the topics of carbon neutral beer, the art and science of beer recipe design, and the fascination with fresh hop beers. There’s sure to be something for everyone in this series of FREE sessions that will be premiered on their Facebook page before being made available on their website:

Toward a carbon neutral future of beer | Thursday 10 March | 9am AEDT Featuring Justin Merrell, Group Environment Director, Lion & Tomas Remenyi, Climate Research Fellow, University of Tasmania

From hop discovery to beer recipe design | Thursday 17 March | 9am AEDT Featuring Ben Kraus, Owner, Bridge Road Brewers & James Dittko, Head Brewer, Bridge Road Brewers
