Co-Conspirators announces 'usual suspects'

For the first time since the brewery’s conception in 2016, Brunswick’s own Co-Conspirators Brewing Company is releasing its own range of ‘usual suspects.’ The first beer of the range is the Co-Conspirators Hazy Pale Ale, to be released together with Co-Conspirators fan favourite and original hazy beer, The Matriarch NEIPA. We are also excited for what’s to come, as self-proclaimed hop heads and lager lovers we can’t wait for a new IPA & Lager to complete the perfect lineup in 2023.

“Brunswick’s Most Wanted” line- up will be available year-round, together with Co-Conspirator’s extensive and always exciting range of seasonal and co-conspired releases, including The Hop Peddler Hazy Pale Ale, which won best Modern Pale Ale at this year’s Australian International Beer Awards in May.

With the recent success of our hazy pale ales at AIBA’s and Indie Beer awards and after refining the recipe out of our brewpub we are ready to introduce our new hazy pale. This beer is triple dry hopped with some of our favourite hops for that mouth-watering tropical, citrus flavour profile. Triple dry-hopping allows for saturation of hop flavours and aromas in the beer by adding the hops during different periods of fermentation to extract most of the precious oils. We have packed our new hazy pale ale full of punchy and refreshing hops, in the form of Simcoe, Azacca & Idaho 7. Juicy citrus & tangerine flavours jump out of the can and make for the ultimate refreshment. Think fresh orange and tangerine, tropical fruits, mango, citrus zest, and hints of pine. A medium body balanced with a fluffy mouthfeel and low bitterness provide ultimate thirst-crushing drinkability, this beer is ready to grab and smash! Whether it’s a knock-off, a night starter, a backyarder, or just beer with your bestie this is your perfect accomplice for refreshment and fun.

Clint Weaver [Co-Conspirators Brewing Company graphic designer] of Pocketbeagles explains the motivation for the design, “The visual idea for the core range goes back to the original brand brief of simple yet mysterious. These inconspicuous figures lurking in the shadows within the Co-Conspirator’s underworld narrative, without names, and hopefully raising more questions than they answer”.

These usual suspects will be available on tap and cans at their own brewpub in Brunswick and via their website, as well as the bars, restaurants, and retailers of great independent craft beer.

Co-Conspirators Brewing Company is launching the Hazy Pale Ale at their Brewpub at 377 Victoria Street, Brunswick on Friday 25th November to celebrate this perfect line-up.
