As part of its month long celebration of all beer dark and delicious, The Local Taphouse presents Barrel and the Beasts.
Join them for lunch as they spit-roast a whole pig and serve if between a brioche bun with coleslaw (available from 1pm). Next up for dinner will be whole spit-roasted chooks served the same way (available from 6pm).

Darkside of the Local will run all through July, with 8 taps dedicated to dark. From Schwarzbier to Imperial Stout, Dunkel to Belgian Dubbel, Sweet Stouts to Roasty Imperials, Brown Ales to Barleywines, Dark Sours to Black IPAs, a whole host of Barrel Aged treats – and everything in between.
