We certainly know a thing or two about isolation here in Tasmania.
That is why we are calling on all beer drinking Tasmanians to get behind their local breweries during these tough times and support Tasmanian Independent Beer, in isolation, responsibly, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines.
22 Tasmanian Independent breweries, all small local businesses, will be part of Isolation Beer Festival advising how to get hold of their beer along with online tastings, tours and “meet the brewer” sessions, all from the comfort of your own home.
The best part about Tasmania’s first online beer festival is that it doesn’t matter if it rains, and you certainly don’t need to queue for beer tokens.
Simply show your support by posting an image on social media enjoying your Tasmanian Independent Beer next weekend (4th and 5th April) including the #tasindiebeer and follow #tasindiebeer for all the action.
So, get in touch with your local Tasmanian Independent Brewery, bottleshop or retail venue (keeping appropriate distance) or order directly through a brewery’s website to make sure you’ve got a local indie beer in hand.
In the event that Scotty from marketing locks us down, it would be as Tasmanian as David Boon if your last visit before lockdown was to a brewery!
