Due to expansion we are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our team on rotating morning and afternoon shifts (Monday to Friday).
In this role you’ll be responsible for delivering asset care and maintenance, project work and continual improvement of Brick Lane’s world-class brewing facility.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the responsibilities include:
- Support Implementation of the plant-wide maintenance plan and CMMS system.
- Oversee and perform preventative maintenance scheduled tasks.
- Support the improvement of equipment effectiveness, availability and equipment downtime
- Work collaboratively on expansion and process improvement projects with packaging, cellar, and brewing teams.
- Support and maintain spares inventory up to date.
- Work collaboratively to achieve sustainability goals, reducing waste in all its forms.
The Successful Candidates will ideally possess:
- A high level of mechanical aptitude, fault finding and “can do” attitude
- A relevant trade qualification – sanitary welding experience desirable
- Previous experience as a maintenance fitter (FMCG background highly regarding)
- Experience using CMMS and maintenance planning systems.
- Lean Six Sigma problem solving skills
- Very good interpersonal skills.
