Moon Dog is on the hunt for a motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic sales professional to bring Fizzer Seltzer and Moon Dog beer to the people of NSW.
Moon Dog is a fast-growing alcoholic drinks and hospitality company. We’re Australia’s largest independently owned alcoholic seltzer brand (Moon Dog Fizzer), we’ve got 2 pumping venues in Preston (Moon Dog World) and Abbotsford (Moon Dog OG), Moon Dog is Victoria’s largest independent craft beer brand, and we’ve recently launched Moon Dog Cooler canned cocktails.
Since launching Moon Dog Fizzer in October 2020 we’ve expanded our range to 10 downright delicious flavours and rolled out a world first Fizzer post mix dispensing system along with kegs to hundreds of venues around Australia.
This position requires a person who is highly motivated, great at building and maintaining relationships, understanding customers’ needs, and looking for opportunities outside the box. This is a role where your ideas matter and your sales direction and planning is decided upon in a collaborative way.
About the role:
Reporting to the National On-Premise Sales Manager, your key focuses will be:
- Driving sales and awareness of Moon Dog products through existing pub, bar, restaurant, live music venue and nightclub customers.
- Developing new relationships seeking out new key customers where our products will succeed and ensuring that those relationships are supported to grow.
- Being the first point of contact for all NSW on-premise customers. Solving problems on your feet, working through ways to help grow sales and adding value at every point of the process.
- Being Fizzer and Moon Dog’s biggest fan. The most important part of representing these brands is to love them and get other people to love them too.
About you:
- A love for Fizzer and an understanding of the seltzer/RTD category.
- A love for craft beer and a general knowledge how to talk about it.
- A curiosity to learn more about beer and seltzer.
- Passionate about bringing brands to life in fun and exciting ways
- An existing network in the hospitality industry in the CBD and Inner North is helpful.
- Previous sales or hospitality management experience preferred.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- A fun and friendly personality
- A current Australian driver’s license and car (car allowance and fuel card provided)
This job is predominantly during traditional working hours, however, nights and weekends may be required for some customer visits, events, bar shouts, activations, etc. Some travel will be required with regular trips to our home in Melbourne and semi-regular trips to Canberra and Newcastle to help grow and maintain our customer base there.
