Melbourne’s Urban Alley has had a rollercoaster of a year with changes to management, their approach to selling beer and sustainability plans. We spoke to head brewer Shaya Rubinstein and COO Rob Stevenson about the past 12 months.

This week Pete sits down with Shaya Rubenstein from Urban Alley Brewing, a Baltimore-born, Brooklyn raised, Israeli soldier/homebrewer who marries and settles in Melbourne and finds himself the Head Brewer in his friend’s business venture – a revamped Docklands pub tucked quite literally beneath the Melbourne Star Ferris wheel.
