Goat releases Richard III

July 5, 2010 by Editor

image Collaboration brews are the hot ticket in beer internationally and it’s a little surprising that the trend has yet to hit our shores. But in one of the first of what will no doubt become  a wave, the team at Mountain Goat has teamed up with Richard Watkins from Canberra’s Wig & Pen Brewery to brew a collaborative doppelbock they have called Richard III.

Called Richard III, as it’s the third bock brewed by Melbourne’s Mountain Goat brewery, the beer is described as a 7.4% deep amber beer that will “warm the cockles of your heart”.

The beer will be available at the brewery and is also featuring at the Local Taphouse, St Kilda, from tomorrow.
