Beervana is one of the best major beer festivals that I have been to, nicely balancing all of the competing elements of a good beer festival in one enjoyable, beer-centric package. After running it as his own baby for the first time last year, David Cryer has even more planned for this year and it is well worth making the trup across the dutch to sample the best of New Zealand craft beer in the one place, as well as the many other beery delights of Wellington. Beervana 2012 to be held on 17 & 18 August 2012 at Westpac Stadium, Wellington
Following on from a hugely successful event in 2011, the Beervana team is thrilled to announce that New Zealand’s premier beer and food event will be held at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August 2012.
As in previous years, the event will be held in two four-hour sessions each day. Further details of the 2012 event will be announced in the middle of the year when tickets go on sale.
“We were wrapped to be able to deliver a great beer and food experience in 2011, and in particular to have welcomed a number of first-time visitors to the event. This tells us that New Zeaanders are awakening to the joys of great beer, and we’re looking forward to building on this momentum in 2012,” says Festival Director David Cryer.
Information for exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and media will be available on the new-look Beervana website from mid-February, but enquiries are welcome to [email protected] in the meantime.
